Why I’m Here on Substack (When I Already Built TWIC)
A public soapbox, a private community, and the difference that matters.
If you’re reading this, you might already be part of TWIC (The Wellness Intelligence Collective). If so, you might be wondering … why am I here on Substack too?
Fair question. I love questions.
My quick answer …
TWIC is my online home that I share. It’s our practice space. It’s where the real work happens … where we show up, stack our Self-Care Snacks, rethink our choices, learn and unlearn, release the crap, discover Kind Food, and put Wellness Intelligence into action. It’s a living, breathing ecosystem where reciprocity, curiosity, and kindness fuel everything. It only works when members show up … and the magic is in what happens when we do.
You might also wonder why TWIC is private. It’s because I keep it human. Real. No autobots, no one selling you, no algorithms deciding what you see, no noise and division. I connect people with each other too. This can only happen in a high-trust sapce … so I approve each person who joins. Right now, we’re over 1,500 members … good humans doing good things. And the ones who show up actively are the ones who win.
Substack is my public soapbox. Of sorts. :) Substack is me stepping outside TWIC and saying out loud what’s on my mind on occasion as I decide in the moment … my critiques, my observations, my thought pieces and not on a content calendar or schedule. Sometimes my posts are short and messy, sometimes they’re sharp and longer, sometimes they’re invitations. They are always meant to land wherever they land.
I’m here so I can …
+ Share ideas more widely (with people who don’t (yet) know TWIC exists)
+ Keep myself relevant in the noisy online world (lots to witness and connect with!)
+ Offer reminders about why Wellness Intelligence matters in the first place
If you’re in TWIC, you’re not really missing anything here. Substack isn’t where transformation happens or where practice lives. Think of Substack as where I hope to plant seeds in public … TWIC is the garden where we actually grow together.
I have Substack and created TWIC for a shared reason … I care about spreading Wellness Intelligence far and wide and I care about creating a space where people can actually live it.
If you’re reading this and you’re not in TWIC yet, consider this your open invitation. And if you’re already inside TWIC … keep showing up, log in now. That’s where everything starts, where you meet yourself, and where the work actually sticks.

LOVE this post because you explain your "why" in your beautiful authentic way.
Makes a lot of sense to me... Welcome to substack!
